Muscadine Grapes Keep Well in the Freezer - Despite What You Hear

Muscadine grapes or vitis rotundifolia is a grapevine species native to the southeastern and south-central United States from Florida to Delaware to my backyard vineyard in south east Texas. 


You may hear that muscadine grapes lose their flavor with freezing, but it isn't so. It's another secret the masters won't tell you! Here I have frozen bags, often used in my wine making, maintaining the taste.
